Noosh Alfredo Recipe
Tis a winner, girls! Definitely delish and if you use a generous helping of Redmond's sea salt, it reminisces of Olive Garden flavor. No joke. Here is your recipe:
1/2c raw cashews
1T extra virgin olive oil
1t lemon juice
2T nutritional yeast (noosh)
1.5c boiling starchy water (from the noodles you presumably cook)
3 cloves garlic, minced
sea salt & cracked black pepper
I highly recommend a food processor for this.
1. Grind the nuts into a fine flour then add the boiling water.
2. Add the oil, lemon juice, noosh, and cloves. Blend.
3. If not thick enough, heat in a saucepan on low for a little bit.
4. Season sauce with salt and pepper to taste. (I obvs preferred a HUGE dash of salt with my peppa.)
This makes 5 servings of 95 calories each. Each serving should be roughly 1/4 cup. Varies with the amount of cashews you used and liquid evaporation. 'Nough about that... (though I do hope you enjoy.)
